The 2021 Turkish Grand Prix will take place at Istanbul Park in October. In 2020, after an absence of nine years, Istanbul Park made a surprise return to the coronavirus-impacted Formula 1 calendar. The race saw Lewis Hamilton crowned World Champion for the seventh time.
The 2021 Turkish Grand Prix was originally scheduled to replace the Canadian Grand Prix in June, but the travel situation meant that a trip to Istanbul at that time was not a viable option. After the Turkish race was indefinitely postponed, it was re-added to the calendar to replace the cancelled Singapore Grand Prix.
The 2021 Turkish Grand Prix is expected to welcome a limited number of spectators to the exciting circuit near Istanbul.
